Our mission is to make one of the oldest and most transformative forms of therapy accessible to all.

It takes time and patience to discover how unconscious forces impact our everyday lives.

Learn more about what we’re doing.

We provide resources to support community psychoanalysis.

Psychoanalysis, one of the oldest forms of psychotherapy, is premised on the belief that it takes time and patience to discover how our unconscious desires impact our consciousness. Grappling with and ultimately understanding these feelings can improve our self-awareness, relationships, and sense of autonomy.

Research shows that engaging in psychoanalytic therapies can have a transformative, long-lasting impact.

We see ourselves as part of a long tradition that has sought to make psychoanalysis available to all.

The Foundation for Community Psychoanalysis runs a fellowship program providing two-year fellowships to emergent analysts committed to prioritizing low-fee therapy.

We also provide grants to individuals and institutions working to make psychoanalysis more accessible and relevant.
